To support this growth, Sterimed is recruiting its future CSR Manager (M/F).

YOUR MISSIONS


The CSR Manager implements the Group’s CSR strategy, in alignment with the company’s strategic goals and regulatory obligations related to sustainability and governance. This is a highly operational and cross-functional role that engages all departments and subsidiaries to drive a continuous improvement culture in social, environmental, and governance matters. This position reports to the Group Industrial Director.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Implementing the CSR Strategy
In direct collaboration with subsidiaries and group sites:

  • Continue to roll out and adjust the CSR roadmap in coordination with General Management and internal stakeholders across France and international subsidiaries.
  • Conduct the carbon footprint assessment and define a decarbonization trajectory.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, Duty of Vigilance, etc.).
  • Maintain regulatory watch on CSR topics relevant to the group's business and geographical footprint.

2. Performance Management & Reporting

  • Serve as an expert on CSRD and the EU Taxonomy.
  • Coordinate data collection from subsidiaries and draft CSR reports.
  • Act as the group’s main point of contact for customers, shareholders, investors, and ESG rating agencies regarding CSR questionnaires and requests.
  • Manage certification processes and maintain key labels, certifications, and ratings (e.g., Ecovadis, Global Compact), along with related reporting.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Support

  • Promote a CSR culture and raise employee awareness on sustainability issues.
  • Organize and lead the CSR committee.
  • Coordinate and animate a network of 20 CSR representatives across the group’s entities.
  • Identify and promote sustainability best practices.
  • Anticipate trends and developments to enhance the Group’s competitiveness through CSR.

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in sustainability, finance, law, engineering or business with a CSR focus.
  • Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in a similar position within an international, multi-site company.
  • Fluent in English is mandatory.
  • Solid expertise in CSR, ESG reporting, and related regulations (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, etc.); knowledge of CSR certifications and labels is a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel and experienced in data collection and analysis.
  • Strong track record in cross-functional project management and coordinating networks.
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership to engage teams around CSR goals; pedagogical approach with the ability to simplify complex technical topics.
  • Solution and results-oriented, with a drive to elevate the organization’s CSR understanding and practices.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, both internally and externally.
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability; proactive mindset and high level of autonomy.
